Youth Learn-to-Row Summer Camps
For those with little to no rowing experience! We teach the basics of rowing in a one, two, or four person boat. Campers will gain the knowledge on how to row in a boat comfortably and confidently with their peers. We want to spread the awareness of rowing and use it to teach independence, critical thinking, body awareness, and overall strength and fitness.
Each day will begin with a land session focusing on the technique of the stroke. We will then spend 1.5-2 hours on the water working on technique and fitness. The day ends with time off the water doing a fun activity such as frisbee golf, volleyball, or other sporting activities.
Campers can sign up for multiple weeks to continue improving their knowledge of the sport. The experience learned will prepare campers to join our juniors racing team in the Fall!

Summer 2026 dates coming soon!
Can't make it to our summer camp? We have another great opportunity through the summer camp program at Laguna Blanca School in Santa Barbara. This camp is for campers with little or no rowing experience. Campers must know how to swim and be able to carry equipment to and from the dock.
