Learn to Row (LTR) Sessions

For individuals who are new to the world of rowing or for those who are looking for a  refresher course. We offer twice-weekly sessions over 8 weeks specifically designed to equip you with the essential skills required for feeling at ease and confident in a rowing boat, all within a safe, co-ed environment. You'll have the opportunity to row in multi-person boats and singles.

During the initial 3-4 sessions, our training will focus on building a strong foundation. We'll start on the rowing machine to hone your technique through drills. You'll also gain a solid grasp of boat handling, safety, and technique while on dry land before transitioning to the water. As your understanding of how the boat moves and your skills grow, our practices will shift towards building endurance and allowing you to truly savor the experience on the lake.

One of the unique aspects of our program is the sense of community it fosters. You'll work together with your fellow rowers, creating bonds and camaraderie that extend beyond the water.

Upon completing the Learn-to-Row program, you'll have the opportunity to continue your rowing journey with our experienced members, whether you're interested in recreational rowing or competitive pursuits. Join us and unlock the world of rowing with confidence!
